Tech enterprise UiPath conducted a survey globally in October 2020. They interviewed more than 500 C- level executives and Senior Managers at large organizations. The study says 65% of executives believe Automation & AI skills can increase the pay of employees. They say it increases the opportunity for career advancement within their organizations. Almost 75% of them say they would pick up candidates with experience in Automation & AI tools even if the role does not require those skills, keeping the future in mind.
It is highly imperative to upskill yourself on these emerging technologies. Even non-technical personnel are expected to have a basic knowledge of these two technologies. The majority of corporate leaders say, among the two similar profiles, they would choose someone with automation knowledge.
Training initiatives are to be taken by employers for their employees to leverage technology like automation to increase productivity and job satisfaction which would boost their own business, says Tom Claney, SVP, UiPath.
